  I have Gentoo on a server (well, a ARM SBC). I enjoy it, especially since they added binary packages as needed. How is it for day to day to use?

• Experienced Linux users, what are you using?

  If you have been using Linux for +10 years, what are you using now? Been using Linux for over a decade, and last few years Ubuntu (on desktops/laptops), plus Debian on servers, but been looking to switch to something like “Canonical”-y for a long time. Appreciate recommendations or just a interesting discussion.

  I know this is a joke but you can get more throughput with async I/O for this use case. It lacks a good punchline though
