I went in to update an app today on macOS, and I love seeing that Mastodon was featured on the front page! What is great though is just doesn't point you to one app, but it gives some general guidance on picking a server. https://apps.apple.com/us/story/id1668483560 #mastodon #macos

If anyone figures out how to remove the ads in iWork, please share! Below is an example: #apple #iwork #keynote You can remove the buttons from the toolbar by right clicking on the toolbar and clicking on Customize Toolbar (see 2nd screenshot)

Just finished Paul Hudson's (@twostraws) book: Everything But The Code. Excellent read for all the things outside of writing Swift/SwiftUI and I highly recommend! I definitely have some work now for Ducky, first with newer screenshots which I have definitely neglected! https://apps.apple.com/us/app/ducky-weather/id6474254666 #iosdev #swiftui

Recently listened to "Swift Concurrency Explained" where the host interviewed @mattiem There are some really good points that Matt brought up in the pod that if you've been reading about Swift concurrency, will reinforce some of the key points that these articles make. One key takeaway from the pod that I didn't think about before was the distinction Matt made on concurrency in Swift being a language feature, vs GCD being an API, very good point! https://pod...

I am really grateful for the people in the #iosdev community that take the time to write blog posts on how they approach different problems or just sharing their knowledge. I just read @natpanferova 's post on ScrollView and anchoring and one of several of @mattiem 's post on Swift Concurrency. There are many others that I follow via RSS and on here, and these have been really valuable and for all those that take the time to do these, the community appreciates it! #swift #swif...

I am hoping, and sort of expect, that at #wwdc this year that Icon Composer will be more integrated within Xcode where when you create an app icon, it will be within Xcode. I would also love to have the ability to specify alternate icons naturally in Composer rather than modifying plist files or build settings. #iosdev
