  What is this? ​You see her at the games you run twice a month. ​You look into her eyes you listen to her voice. ​It’s as if your eyes and ears are being kissed by tiny unicorns... are you happy? ​You walk home together since you’re headed the same way and you take a little detour. You don’t need romance, you don’t need sex, but when you look into those eyes... ​You are happy. ​But then you say goodbye. And you realize that happiness always comes with a price.   Even if you’re a forever DM, you still need to find a game every now and then to just be a player. Right now, I’m in a session that’s honestly a bit of a slog. Pacing and the GM’s ability to keep things moving without dragging them out are so crucial.
