Regarding the history of #GPU / graphics cards hardware architecture, I know that these chips have evolved from the need to calculate floating point operations efficiently.   Ugh, I slept like half of what I usually sleep. This will be a day with lots of caffeine. Met a friend on the train who I haven't seen in a while and we talked about a cool detective puzzle game he designed for his son's birthday party, and about how shitty and overwhelming wage work is for both of us lately. At least I remembered to take the #5e stuff with me. Gonna DM a one shot for/with colleagues after work, my boss was curious about this #dnd her son keeps taking about....

  I finally put the new pin on my bag and replaced the clasp of another one with a screw-fixed clasp. And I should really wash that bag some time. #TTRPG inventory tote as well as the bow and sword pin by Emily Cheeseman. Wooden clover pin by Paraply.   My bicycle chain sprang off. I was just on my way home from a long ass work day. It's almost as if it had heard my plans to clean and lubricate the chain and gears last weekend which I didn't follow through. I was too exhausted and done with the day to fix it on the spot, I didn't want to get dirty either. So I walked it home and put it in the shed. Gonna walk to the station tomorrow, too. I'll be going on a three day business trip anyway.

  By the way, I started a new notebook today! Not really A5 but similar in size, I got it as a thank you gift for holding a talk a few years ago. This is going to be for work stuff (at the morning job). Had lots of fun with curating stickers and I'm really content.   Hell yeah, the first #AngineDePoitrine cover videos are starting to appear! There was this guitarist who mangaged to recreate the microtonal sound by tuning just one string differently. And now, there's an awesome cover of Sherpa on the #SID6851 , the sound chip from the #C64. I didn't know that it supported microtonal music but apparently you can adjust the pitch quite freely.
