When going on adventures in the wild, has anyone ever brought some ebook reader with maps, city guides, dictionaries, translation dictionaries, bike repair guides, botanic guides, survival guides, etc? I wonder how convenient they would be to use. The idea is that ebook readers are light and have a very long battery life, so having them full of informations relevant to said adventure would make them way more valuable to me.

Does anybody know how to report and workaround crashes in the amdgpu Linux driver? On one of my machines, I regularly have system freezes when using Firefox and some other apps, everything freezes but the mouse pointer. Looking at the system logs, it's because of the amdgpu driver, that's way too low level for my current knowledge.

I'm particularly happy about @gnome 50 because I've been able to contribute an #accessibility feature that I need: setting the alarm sound in Clocks! Because of my terrible hearing I couldn't hear the alarm sound, but now we have a better default and plenty of options! 😄 I need it on desktop, but even more on mobile as that's where I typically set alarms.

I have a question for #accessibility specialists. I am writing some documentation as books, and for one of these books I want to link to a specific section in another book of that documentation. To make very clear where that section sits in the documentation's navigation, I want my link's text to be its full path, but I need to separate each segment somehow. So far, I am using the → character as a separator, so my links look like "Book → Chapter → Section", does...

Over November 2025, I've been able to contribute to @gnome, and it was a pleasure! I focused on GNOME Clocks, with the goal of making it as good as possible for GNOME 50. I focused on #accessibility, #linuxmobile and all sorts of bug fixes and features, as well as issue and MR triaging. I also fixed some tiny issues in #GTK and #libadwaita, and helped make gettext-pseudolocale as good as possible. I hope to find more free time to make GNOME Clocks 50 dependable as a mobile clocks app.
