  I recently learned that the option to hibernate goes away when Fedora is booted with SecureBoot. It was surprising to me, and might be good to know for you, that’s why I’m mentioning it.

  On the MacBook Neo, I can even opt to not use MacOS at all and instead install Asahi Linux if I so choose (assuming Apple continues to allow custom kernel booting as it has in M-series Macs). The author is jumping the gun a lot there. The Asahi team recently started getting the M3 support kind of working, but still need to reverse engineer the new GPU and various other things that make them different from M1 and M2 laptops. It will be years until we get anywhere close to support of the Neo.

  I was recently thinking, this recruitment drive must be heaven for the common proud boys brownshirt. Who of them wouldn’t sign up, they get to harm immigrants, they get cover from the very top if they catch public attention, they get gear, and they might even get paid for it.

  If she’s livestreaming too she might need a broadcasting license, like Gronkh (predates grok, no relation, big German streamer). Better get on that paperwork too.
