I attended a webinar yesterday where a doctor was extolling what they&#39;ve done with AI in their hospital. But upon closer examination what he described as AI is the conversation tree that has been used in computer games for decades. AI has become a truly meaningless term.

@janhoglund Don&#39;t submit in advance. I see this on the hellsite, a lot of pressure to accept that Trump is inevitable and that one needs to accomodate and prepare yourself for that reality. Chilling stuff.

@ellenmorrisprewitt What I see happen over and over again is that people who are lost in the weeds on a big project often have difficulty taking a step back and looking at it as if it wasn&#39;t their baby.

USA &#39;24 feels like Spain&#39;s &#39;23 election. Incumbent left badly behind and badly divided. Everyone is convinced that a far right coalition is going to win election later in the year. The PM flips the script by calling an early election &quot;let&#39;s get this over with&quot; vibe. Centre and Left rally together within 7 days. The far right is framed as ugly. Left coalition upticks in the polls. This generates excitement and momentum. Left squeaks out a...
