  I’m watching the remake of ginga eiyuu densetsu/legend of the galactic heroes. I’m only five episodes in but it’s good! Capsule review: 1. 3d spaceships are a total downgrade 2. Voice acting is good 3. I can see it being good for someone on the fence about the series But I miss the deliberate (some may say glacial) pace of the 80s/90s version, and I prefer the art of the original.

  Thinking about upgrading a workstation. New cpu would be good, current one is from like 2019. Ok, so new motherboard. Uh, it’s ddr5 now I guess. So more than half the price of the upgrade would be ram 🙃guess I’ll wait…

  I’m trying to improve my git usage lately so today’s man page is git-config: https://git-scm.com/docs/git-config There are some goodies in there (user.signingKey=“key::…ssh pub key id”; stash.showPatch; rebase.{autoSquash,updateRefs}, pull.ff=only; help.autoCorrect=prompt; diff.mnemonicPrefix; alias)! If anyone has a favorite config setting or alias I’d love to hear it!
