Flavia Lamas's and the Asamblea de la Cuenca de Salinas Grandes y Laguna de Guayatayoc's struggle against dispossession in the global scramble for Lithium exposes critically what decarbonisation means when it relies on a colonial logic. Marisol Manfredi's and I have been lucky to interview them (Spanish): https://jacobinlat.com/2025/11/una-critica-radical-al-corazon-del-capitalismo-verde2/

I am worried that people in my life that are politically active in italy are still relying on whatsapp as their main communication tool. Here is a little blog that explains why Meta is a bad company to trust, and why i believe Signal is a more reliable platform. https://jakobnitschke.codeberg.page/blog/signal_blog/ #digitalIndependenceDay #DiDay #digitalsovereignty #BigTech

A collective i am part of wants to create a website to share their content. Anyone has some good tutorials/tips about the hosting side of things? While i can figure out the coding part, i am a bit lost which kind of infrastructure we would need and what options would be an overkill if the website is mainly passive. Any good european hosts you can recommend?

Question for German-Speakers: I really enjoyed the last edition of Jacobin Germany: https://www.jacobin.de/ausgaben/palaestina Not because I agree with all the details but because i see it as a shift in german debate. And i am wondering what german-speaking folks here think about the issue (please dm if you dont feel comfortable speaking) Do you agree that there is a fundamental shift in how german public-debate discusses the palestine genocide?
