I’m back, dear #sfba! It’s wonderful to be home, after managing to sleep on 8 different beds/pillows in 20 days. Pillows are so important at least IMO. My collection of pic of door knockers has expanded too! This one seems a bit wistful to me.

Did I get a bad cold on my trip? Yes. Still coughing 10 days later! Is it Covid? Nope. Just hella annoying, esp when added to jet lag… ugh! Up at the break of dawn, of course. And here’s the next door knocker!

No, I am not enjoying the day in any way, as my cold has morphed into pneumonia. It is no fun whatsoever, especially the cough, what with the deep bark at the end. Thankfully, I have health insurance, saw a doctor, and got diagnosed. I’m hoping the meds do their job sooooon! A crow up high is looking out for me though…

The sun has risen, yet again, dear #sfba! @SutroTower is looking perky. I’m feeling ever-so-slightly better, very grateful antibiotics exist and are helping… I’m hoping I’m over the hump. Pneumonia is no joke, indeed.

My son (20) made a comment yesterday that sums up a lot about the heat for me: “EVERY summer will be the coolest summer we experience.” That reality just sucks. (And we speak from the lovely coolness that is San Francisco in summer…)
