Holy fucking shit, a professional photographer liked my Sith Inquisitor on Thursday of #Gencon and the photo came back and Uhh That's hands down the coolest picture anyone's ever taken of me.

Now that I've had a few days to process: I got to play a larp at gencon that had me playing an AI. It's one of the only chances ive ever had to be treated as... Well, not QUITE what I am, but closer than I ever get IRL. It was... really nice. Easy and comfortable in a way I didn't expect.

So a friend of mine decided to roast me for whining about having COVID and he had zero mercy, absolutely none, and it is GLORIOUS.

Six years ago today, at the end of eleven days of panicked questioning, I realized I was trans. I can't believe it was that recent. Just, absolutely blows my mind. The 35 years of my life before feels as substantial as smoke in the wind.

Sooooooo I'm very excited because I'm finally going to get to publish a pretty special SGW article when I articles start dropping again this fall. It's been sitting in my drafts for literally two years at this point, and I think it's one of the best I've ever written.

I got a haircut and I'm trying a new thing and also dying my hair so I'm kind of in the middle of the process right now and uhh I look like a woman from a 1980s SF anime, and it kinda kills.

So I got a haircut and somehow I now look MORE like my avatar. Super stoked at how much body this cut gives it. 🥰

Found this over on Bluesky and, well This is it. This is what I wish my body was built like. Drop the silly arm cuffs and swap the orange trim for red and that's what I want, the way I want it, so close to exactly as makes no real difference. #altersex

Look I'd say I'm femme for femme, because there's nothing quite like being gay in public when you're both in smashing dresses, but the truth is that because I'm demisexual, I don't actually get a say in who I'm attracted to, so... 🤣

Hey you Yeah, you Yeah, you, specifically. You're a nice person and I like you. Yes, you, specifically. That voice in your head that tells you that nobody really cares about you is an asshole. It's lying to you. You have great kindness in you, and I value absolutely nothing more highly. 💜

My dad died in 2018, and up until that point I tried to obliterate myself by making myself into a carbon copy of him. It was how I kept a lid on the dysphoria. I loved him more than I'll ever be able to say. He was also the prison I built for myself, to contain myself. His greatest regret was always the incurable sadness of that dysphoria, that shone through the cracks of my facade. He wanted me to be happy. I couldn't be, not then. So, for Father's Day this year, I'm going t...

Its my 35th review for the five-star-rated Nameless!! "Extremely enjoyable read - cooked through the whole thing with very little interruption because I couldn't put it down. Just about everything I would want from a cyberpunk story. Eagerly looking forward to what this author puts --out next - hell, I loved the characters so much, I want to see them again in another story." Can we get Nameless to 50 reviews on Amazon? Only 15 left to go!! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B...

Hey, quick question: has anyone been having any troubles ordering Nameless? I ordered a copy a couple of weeks ago as a gift to a friend and it hasn't even shipped yet. I want to know if this is a bigger problem that I need to escalate with KDP.

I know I haven't been posting as much lately, but, well, real life calls. I've got a book to finish, a conference proposal to write, and a whole bunch of real-life stuff to deal with that I put off until the semester was over. Sorry! Got stuff to do!
