  Wish there was a standard for motherbords on how to put memories on the different channels and not one idea per vendor. Things have not gotten better since the early 1990s when i read Unix magazine on how to populate memory on a Unix workstation. "Uh, put them on slot 1,3. Or 1 and 2, hey lets change it so you put them in 2 and 4. Hey wait - lets add letters after the channel names to confuse the user even more." Fuckers.

  Hell is a small apartment with fruit flies. Haven't eaten any fruit at all, looked into it and they enter through the air conditioning from the outside. So i screwed the shutters tighter on the air conditioning and also put insect nets over them, but it wont help against the fuckers that already are inside.

  Got extra memory for my new gaming box, upping it to 64 GB. Was gonna fit it tonight, but if there is one thing i've learned is that you don't do tech when you are tired (or drunk), and i've been tired all day. Maybe i should even sit down and play some games on it too...

  Guy selling his Amiga 1000, dirty AF (looks like it have been standing in a garage for 40 years), unexpanded (512k memory only), no cables. Current bid on it is just over €600. Bet i get get more for my CLEAN Amiga 1000 - with cables, external original Amiga 1000 diskdrive, that is also pre Commodore acquisition (Imported from US before commodore won the bid on Amiga Inc).

  Thought about outsourcing some boring work as part time to anyone willing to do it for a salary of €1000 a month @ 25% time. A comparable full time job (8 hours a day, 40 hour a week) would be €4000 which isn't bad over here. Basically it would mean ~2 hours of work per day to do some repetitive stuff that i don't wanna do, and then the person could spend the rest of the day playing games, watching Netflix or whatever they want to do with their lives.

  There. 2 x 2 TB M2 (Kingston) drives i can use for backup. One is physically stored elsewhere for redundancy. The best part is the speed: 700 MB/sec which means i can do a full backup of all my VMs i use for work in minutes. If i add a layer of Veracrypt on it, speed will go down to 550 MB/sec, but even that speed is totally acceptable.   Was reminded today of WPE - "Windows Packet Editor". Basically everything Burpsuite can do, but for pretty much app protocols and just not HTTP/HTTPS, it do requires some high skill fiddling around with to get it to do what you want. I remember some people who used it to cheat in games - and quickly got banned, but it worked as long as you knew what packet/offset you were editing.
