@SandraDeHaan TikTok vind ik nog weer wat anders dan X. Op TikTok bereik je een jongere doelgroep. De doelgroep op X? Ik twijfel of die er nog is inderdaad.

#NowPlaying Elliot Smith - XO. When I put it on the back of the sleeve said: copyright 2008. I thought it was older and the first release is from 1998. So that’s 28 years old. I first listened to it on CD. Now on #vinyl. It still is an excellent record. Nicely recorded and with great songs. To my ears every song has it own character, still the songs fit really well together. A nice and coherent piece of art. I’m sad to have learned that he passed away. #Singer-songwriter #alternative

I’ve started working on replacing #rollbar with #sentry for my app #smashtunes. I was getting in some very incidental crashes because of Rollbar. Rollbar should give me insight into potentential crashes not be a cause of them. Maybe it has to do with SmashTunes being a #macOS app and the Rollbar library only being for #iOS. I don’t know, but I’m switching over. So far Sentry looks promising. Does anyone have good experiences with maybe other tools like these?

#NowPlaying John Frusciante - To Record Water for Ten Days. I used to listen to this album quite a bit when it came out out, so I was pleasantly surprised when I saw it in the shop yesterday on #RecordStoreDay. It is the original album with some bonus material on side D. It didn’t come cheap. My friend at the store said he did not purchase several items because he thought they were too expensive. He could sell a lot at a lower price. Frusciante sold well. Anyway I’m glad I bought this item.

It’s quite some work to migrate my 17 year old app #SmashTunes to #Swift 6.2, but I’ve started the work. There are lots of code constructs that don’t work anymore, but I’m slowing picking up some patterns. In the end I think my app will be more robust and structured. I am forced to think about the architecture again. I started with over 200 warnings and am now down to 160. #Indiedev #macOS
