Putting my new interchangeable circular needles to the test with this cowl/poncho type thing using a variegated rainbow yarn that I got ~400g of for $10! it will end up with thinner and thinner stripes as the garment gets a bigger and bigger circumference. Already very happy with it, getting comfy with increases (and decreases but not on this) feels like a game-changer.

the "boiling frog" metaphor sucks, people have tested it and the frog tries to get out of the hot water way before it's boiling. We already had "death by a thousand cuts" and "alarm fatigue" those actually communicate what you mean

Made a big ol' salad with like 20 different ingredients including half a dozen types of pickled things, topped it off with a spicy garlic and mustard mayonnaise dressing :wow_miku: :blobcat_fu_yummy:
