  One of the young jackdaws has become particularly relaxed around me. They injured their wing a few weeks ago and were unable to fly, so hopped around in the safety of our garden till they'd recovered their strength. Now, they've decided they like it here and stick around long after the other crows have finished their breakfast So, we just had a lovely photoshoot 😍 #CorvidsOfMastodon #photography #birdsofmastodon

  Morning peeps. Apologies for hiding in the shadows for the last few days. Dotty has very much been my focus and rightly so, but also I don't find sickness and potential loss of loved ones easy. I mean who does? But old trauma and upbringing appear to have left me with particularly fragile coping mechanisms Anyway.. Dotty continues to slowly improve, still loathes her collar and overall I am daring to feel more positive for my darling lil' baby girl So have a squirrel from this morning....

  Because my sleeping habits have shifted to a weird early morning schedule, I'd not seen any hedgehogs in the late evening this year. Usually asleep. But today a load of sleeplessness and a new med that drains me of life, that does not agree with me and that I doubt I'll be carrying in with, all had me sleeping for hours in the day.. so now I am awake. So.. look who was shuffling around out there! 🥰🦔 #hedgehogs

  Morning, lovers 😘 Love the atmosphere in this photo I took while wandering the hills yesterday. I used a preprogrammed filter to enhance the appearance of the wildfire smoke that had drifted across on the wind from Eryri, 40 miles away, and filled our valleys with a blue misty haze Have a great day! We've had a little rain overnight and light drizzle will continue through the day. There are puddles! So exciting! At last! 💕🥰 #SilentSunday

  Morning lovelies 💕 I've been having coffee, a salmon and cream cheese bagel and slowly waking in the garden with my dear lil' blackbird friend, since about 7am. Not a bad way to start the day. I've watched him grow up over the last 6 weeks or so and given him small treats from time to time, and now he always comes to say hello and gives friendly flypasses 😊 Have a really good day peeps 🥰

  My young friend, the blackbird was very thirsty on this crazy hot day.. and was so happy I'd put out a large dish of water for drinking and bath-times Give your garden birds water, sweeties. There are lots of new young ones around. It makes a difference 😘💕 #birdsofmastodon
