  I never bothered owning an umbrella, but it's definitely a necessity here! First I thought, "I'll just wear my good coat and it'll be fine." 2 rainy days later, I changed my mind. Then, I got a ¥550 umbrella (currently $3.44 USD) thinking it'll be fine. I see why someone would want to pay a little extra for a sturdy umbrella here. 😅

  Took a trip during Golden Week to the Maiko Marine Promenade at the Akashi-Kaikyo Bridge. They have a couple spots with glass in the floor so you can look down to the ocean (100 meters below!). There was a glass section that was cracked and cones to block it off. 💀 Yikes. #akashikaikyobridge #akashijapan #maikomarinepromenade
