  @Cyclist I jumped into Proton. It is quite good. Also using Tuta and like it a lot, for my needs. I would suggest taking out a free account with each and use for simple things. Autoforward from your current account to each and see how you like the layout, functionality etc. Proton got a lot of hype, and well deserved. Tuta under represented by "hype" but really great

  @thenewoil all sounds good until you realise some of the US shithole (personal opinion) firms currently operating services within the UK for NHS, local authority, police and other highly sensitive limbs of government (Palantir is one)
