I don't care about poor republicans. Whenever people make that arguement, "How can they vote against their own interests?" it seems to be about money. But I get it. Poor and poorly educated and all. It's easy to believe lies, even transparent ones. But republicans of color? LGBT republicans? Disabled republicans? I mean, not that I feel sorry for any of them anyway, but that seems harder to figure out, especially with the first 2 groups.

Think it's time to find a new RSS reader. Any recommendations?

Unexpectedly I found that the stories where Julian and Garak raise a child together are some of my favorites, especially when other canon characters are included in the story. #Fanfiction #StarTrek

I don't usually want much. I'm happy with the things I have. And most times when I do want something it's not too expensive by itself, but it's the shipping that puts it over the top!

Good morning! I woke up to my foot being bent in half, which it hasn't done in a while! At least this wasn't the worst it's ever been. I wish you all a more peaceful morning/evening.

Kids advertising the homes in a gated community in Florida is just so wrong. Not even like, parks or kids activities or schools or anything, just touring homes.

I hate when you take eye drops and some of it winds up in your throat. Anyone else ever had this happen?

You go to the doctor in the late afternoon and get a 7 day course of antibiotics to be taken 3 times a day. How do you take them? #Medical #Poll #Polls

Wow, just got hit by some bad memories randomly. Maybe it was because I was going through my radio stations and came across the wrong song. I hate it when that happens!

I just said to myself, "It's not gonna get done by me bitching about it," and that may be the most stereotypically crochety old man thing I've ever said in my life. But rather than make me sour, it made me laugh. Stereotypical crochety old men are more fun than real ones, lol.

Wow, what a day we just had! Mom was off today, and we checked off coffee shops 5 and 6 on the list. The first one wasn't too great, although some of the food sounded good. I want to go back just for the avocado toast. But the second one, oh my goodness, now that was an experience! The owner was just wonderful! The place was comfortable and welcoming, and they also had great food! We planned to go back there for lunch next time we have the occasion to have lunch out.

I always feel kinda bratty for thinking "I wish I had more money!" because me and everyone else, right? But this time I want most of that extra money to give to other people, so I feel a bit more justified. So I wish I had more money! lol

I've always listed the fact that you can't surprise yourself as one of the reasons being your own best friend has its limits, but this Youtube playlist I just found on my account proves me wrong. No memory of making it, but it started with one of my favorite songs, so I'm sure I did when I was trying to figure things out!

I know libraries probably mean reading challenges to be for anyone, but I always think of them as being for people who don't like to read and have to be coaxed into it.

A cool thing about talking about fanfiction in a group is you also talk about things that go into a fanfic, which can be basically anything. Right now I'm in a Reddit thread that's everything you ever wanted to know about vampires where the word fanfic was only mentioned once or twice. Fanfiction is like what they used to tell me about psychology; it can apply to and encompass everything!.

When I was first introduced to social media back around 2006, one of the things I was most excited about was the thought that my words could impact others on the other side of the world. I'm feeling like that again, only now I have nothing meaningful to say, lol.

I woke up from a very frustrating dream and was angry and frustrated as if it had been real even though I knew it wasn't. You know those dreams that are so deep it takes you a minute after you wake up to realize it wasn't real? This wasn't like that mentally, but it was emotionally, if that makes sense.

1 I'd like to celebrate a small victory. There was a specific audiobook I remember previewing on the Fullcast Audio site, but didn't save and couldn't remember anything about. So I went to the site, followed the link there to Audible since I could no longer read the book descriptions on the site, looked through all their books on Audible, thank goodness they were all in one place, and it turned out to be in the middle of page 4. Okay, now I'm saying it it doesn&a...

I'm just a little bit embarrassed that I never bothered to learn Jaws or NVDA keyboard shortcuts. I mean, I didn't think I needed them, and it was just one less thing to learn, but those few seconds of time you save here and there really add up! E brings you to an edit box? That's so amazing! But it's always been there. It's nothing new to most people!
