Further progress on my IIAF F-14 Tomcat 😺 project as the base Sand tone was sprayed to finalize the camouflage. Added the anti-glare so I could unmask it and see the results. Some touch up work but 👍🏻 #ModelAircraft #HistScaleModels

Started the upper camouflage tonight in an highly unusual fashion with the darker tones first. However with this IIAF pattern it will be easier to mask off the dark strips and spray the light sand colour last. We will see how that works out as I don’t recall doing it in this order ever before. I will need to go back and work on a few of the brown areas still as I have some areas to cleanup some and I missed a couple of recoats on the tail. Progress on the IIAF Tomcat regardless 😺 #ModelAircraft

Managed to get a few other projects completed enough to shift focus back to the Tomcat revival for a bit. Primed first, a bit of clean-up from there and then today got around to the underside camouflage. Giving it a used but still well maintained aircraft look. Hope you all had a good weekend 😎

Onto the finer details of my MiG-29UB (which always takes a disproportionate amount of time to complete, however it does add to the effect) Now, if I can manage not to break them off every time I touch it, I may get it to The Hangar later today. Another multi-media short run kit that can produce a great model (not easily) was this Two Bobs T-2 Buckeye. The complex/challenging builds include multi-media short run kits. If your subject isn't available as a main-stream these can get you there, but it's going to take more work. Back in the paint box for the 3rd of 4 colour sprays (Dunkelgrün) on this F-4F Phantom 👻 Nothing but problems with the airbrush jamming about 4X forcing a strip and clean and then back at it again …Not surprised though as the day at work went like that as well 😑 #ModelAircraft #HistScaleModels

While waiting for the paint to dry on the F-4F &amp; T-38A project: Got a start on the next build for this year. MiG-29 UB - Found some Ukraine markings for this project which I will put to use.
