<p>Beekeeper with deep interest in the natural world. 3, much loved, dogs. Oh, and some gardening.<br />I originally joined in Nov 22. Left in 25. Back again, as I missed so many of the people, determined to avoid all the bits that made it an unhappy experience last time so if I don&#39;t follow you back it may be for my own self protection.     @zahradie@mastodon.social neighbour shades the greenhouse. Its a bit of a catch 22 isn&#39;t it as they need the light and those also look quite heavy. I think shade would be better than covering but is hard. Mulch is the really good thing you can do to keep the moisture in the soil at the roots so any water they do have is available for as long as possible. I do cover things against frost though

    Does anyone know of anywhere that some one who lives alone can go to recuperate after an operation for about a week in south Wales or maybe the Bristol area. Not a care home for the elderly, this person is not really elderly or usually infirmed. There does not seem to be such a place #Wales

    Argh, i thought the toms in tunnel looked a little flacid yesterday but just thought it had been a bit warm and watered them again. They seemed ok this morning and were watered but its not been hot and they are a bit droopy again now. No rot at base and its every plant. Any ideas? Not seen any vine weevil #GrowYourOwn

    Anyone know about electric dog trimmers? The ones I bought last year were great but now only cut in the extended, cleaning position. I have taken the blades off and removed a lot of hair from behind. You can&amp;#39;t use them with any of the guards, which is not an issue, but its not right #DogGrooming #Hair
