Have a cupboard love relationship with the garden, love growing things that I can eat - but everything else is left to the elements.</p><p>This account is going to generate mostly vapid chatter about veggie garden and related matters. Included but not limited to rants about weeds, weird bugs that I took photos of etc.</p><p>And occasional science/bioinformatics.</p>

This stuff (amulla/ winter apple) is nuts. It wilted dramatically and the leaves all fell off when I first planted it.

Of all the places that send orders in paper packaging (including tape), I was not expecting Howards storage world. Good on them I guess. Worms&#39;ll be happy. #packaging #vermicomposting

Does anyone know in Brisbane/Australia where you can buy/order bulk-ish (1kg-25kg) steel cut oats? ie, not rolled oats. Used to be able to get from the local bougie bulk shop, but they&#39;ve stopped stocking. The packets in the &#39;health food&#39; section supermarket are tiny and expensive for meal prepped breakfasts.

18 degrees in here ans I had to break out the beanie. I would not survive anywhere cold.
