Can't say I've seen elevator call buttons quite like this before. @deviantollam ?

x8/x4/x4 riser card that allows two m.2 drives and a low-profile PCIe card in one x16 slot (bifurcation support required in BIOS). Nifty. Hopefully there's enough clearance on both sides for the coolers I have on my Optane P1600X drives. The Arc A310 is only a 30W card so no issues with overloading the slot.

PCIe PRI card didn't come with a low profile bracket...so I made it into one. Bench vise, hammer, nibbler and needle files. Unfortunately despite the bend location being spot on (less than 0.1mm from the reference bracket!) it doesn't fit right :(

My Frigate setup appears to be progressing nicely. I'm switching over from Blue Iris and so far pleased with its performance. It's definitely a bonus not having to admin a Windows server VM, too.

I was laid off in October after 13 years at Amazon and am still seeking a new opportunity. Please ping me if you know of a full-time remote role working on network and/or infrastructure security (on-prem and cloud-based). I also have experience with embedded/OT/IoT network security and wireless security. After hours I run a small network (AS46577) and fiddle with microcontrollers, embedded Linux, ham radio, and drones. Boosts appreciated. #infosecjobs #getfedihired #jobhunt #jobsearch
