Watched an old favorite movie yesterday, Casablanca, and I found myself in tears when I realized this fictional movie was no longer limited to historical significance. My country, the U.S., has fallen so far, it will take generations to rebuild. We were never perfect. Indeed far from it. But we offered hope for a better future. Now we've fallen to the worst of the fascist regimes once relegated to the history books, no better than Putin's Russia. We must do better, but are we willing...
