Well, the nightmare scenario has arrived. Major injury, surgical intervention & multiday uncontrolled exposure of your partner in a hospital that has no respiratory precautions despite asking for accomodations. 😢 I have a molecular test system. What's the current view of isolation & testing regimes these days? I have focused so much on prevention I have lost touch with isolation & test best practices. Hospitals are dangerous places. Air purification would mitigate the risk. Too bad most infection control professionals have voted for job security over patient safety, as I recently experienced up close and personally. I really despise how risky hospitals are for respiratory transmission today. Its mitigatable right up to the point you have an issue that makes it not mitigatable. Hospitals should not be a place of unmanaged risk resulting in health danger. #covidIsAirborne
