@overcastfm I’m having real trouble trying to get a podcast episode into Overcast, I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. The episode web page with an Overcast button seems like I’m on the right path, but then I get stuck. After auth, I pressed the web “save” button for the episode, but neither the show nor the episode appear in the app. I’ve narrated a screen recording of one of my attempts in case I’m holding it wrong. (I know how busy you are, no pressure.)

@siracusa I agree with your assessment that Xcode previews are crashing because it’s buggy. I was bashing my head against that same wall this week. Some views work, some don’t. Some previews of a view work, while different data in the same view crashes. This Stack Overflow post appears to be correct, I haven’t crashed since: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/79813033/swiftui-preview-not-working-in-xcode-26-when-automatically-refresh-canvas-is-e Hugely frustrating to have previews snatched fro...

Fell asleep after putting our kid to bed last night, woke up for a bit intending to do stuff, fell back asleep. Woke at around 04:00 with my keys digging into my leg so actually got changed… Still woke up feeling exhausted, having had around 13h of in-bed time. This is why I normally stay up stupid late; if I’m going to feel like shit either way, might as well stay up and get things done or have some fun or whatever.

RE: https://mastodon.social/@bagder/116444879822754604 This smells an awful lot like SonarQube’s analysis to me. Sometimes it finds things we should fix, but most of the time it’s alerting about harmless stuff and telling us we have to change it. Change for the sake of appeasing an incorrect tool isn’t a good use of engineer time.

We have a shared calendar at work, it’s “in” Sharepoint, and we can see and edit it in Teams. As it’s a calendar, we’d like to also show it in Outlook. Can’t be done. Why? Fuck you, that’s why. Absolutely nothing made by Microsoft has any fucking clue about interoperability, even just inside their own ecosystem. I thought Apple were the closed-off ones?! Absolute dogshit, it infuriates me so much!
