This article illustrates why forest management is hard. Federal officials and legislators are calling for more active management such as logging, thinning, prescribed fire, etc. Then in their next breath they insist on immediate suppression of every start. Preparations for 100⁰+ this weekend include installing the window air conditioner that is hidden behind some shade cloth. The shade cloth on the porch is not visible because of the car and shade tent.

PSA for all you high-speed app developers out there with good eyes. Do not, and I can not emphasize this enough, do not put a graphic feature on your pages that looks like a stray hair on the screen to us old people that already struggle with having to use a tiny phone screen instead of just talking to the nice receptionist at the doctor's office. It just slows down an already confusing process.
