The eclipse was beautiful and rejuvenating to witness. Only partial here, but with 85% totality. I feel lighter.

Do you make #video projects and you need some music? I’ll give out my latest full album, Nowhere, for use for free. I can include instrumentals of all tracks as well. Anyway. I hope I can spur some creativity or help a project.

I don’t play enough music right now. That makes me sad. I have done some projects recently, and I’ve done some open mic nights, but I miss The Implements of Destruction.

New psychiatrist appointment today. It's always weird. I always have the thought of "Am I crazy enough? What if it's all in my head?" And that's the point.

I have two interviews tomorrow! One is a preliminary interview with a recruiter, and one is a final interview. Fingers crossed for both, particularly the final interview.

Cyber decks are getting popular on TikTok for even non techie people. I think that’s super neat and makes things more accessible

Wow. I didn't realize three years had passed since 51 Miles From Nowhere came out. It really released on the 6th of April, but it hit streaming three years ago today. Three years changes a lot of things. I'm not in the same place I was, emotionally, psychologically, and especially physically. I can't play with the Implements of Destruction anymore. Moving is a bitch. But. It's an amazing snapshot of some of the happiest times of my life. Cheers to @djsund...

Ok. So in honor of 3 years of 51 Miles from Nowhere, I'm making it free/pay-what-you-want for today. Or for however long until I remember to change it. Anyway. Free music if you don't already have it. https://doctordeathray.bandcamp.com/album/51-miles-from-nowhere

I want to get some of my old computer gear running again. My 2009 MacBook Pro needs a new battery. I could chuck one in, throw in an SSD, and maybe have a dedicated iTunes library machine for my iPods and such. Could also set up a retro-studio with it. I think an old Digi-002 console will work with it? A DAW system from the late 2000’s could be fun to play with.

Still mad I got laid off 3 months after they moved me halfway across the country.

Today is starting off focusing on regrets. I need to move forward, soon.

A friend is coming over tonight!

34 plays away from 7k all-time listens on band camp https://doctordeathray.bandcamp.com/album/nowhere

I’ve mentioned it before, but I was laid off about three ish weeks back. It was a corporate gig. I moved halfway across the country for the promotion, and I was laid off three months after moving. So that sucked. But. I can make things work.

I’ve been working on Filibus with @ajroach42 It’s been a super fun project! I had so much trouble doing things kinds of projects when I was balancing too much. So. Benefit of getting laid off? I can do things I actually like?

I wondered why I was getting so many bandcamp sales today. I forgot it's #bandcampfriday I'm literally so happy about it! If you want to check out my #music then I would be even happier https://doctordeathray.bandcamp.com/

Laid off. Moved to Chicago three months ago for this promotion. Not my favorite week.

My partner just called my ‘guy’ phase “Manic Pixie Dream Boy” and I’m so mad at being called out.

I think I’ll release an EP soon of an old track, a new track, and two outtakes from “Nowhere”

Being laid off is not my favorite thing. Moving and then being laid off three months later is even worse.

Maybe I can get my audio engineering business back off the ground.

New #music time! I've collected two outtakes from 'Nowhere' with two additional songs, one old and one an old one rehashed. Something new, something old, something borrowed, and lots of blue. The first two tracks feature @djsundog @TaxDan and @connor_dylan The last two are me being alone in a room. Anyway. I hope you don't like it. https://doctordeathray.bandcamp.com/album/letters-from-nowhere-vol-3-wh3n-wh3r3

I got asked to play banjo for a couple of singers. I am a mediocre banjo player, but I have a good ear. I couldn’t figure out the chord voicing for the life of me. AND THEN I figured out their wonky tuning. So. Yay!

    I don’t feel hope.

Ok, I've been in my feelings for a day-and-a-half, but it's time to look for work after this layoff! My latest roles include Sr. Analyst for HR Analytics (Power BI based reporting) and Chair of the Pride Alliance BRG (an LGBTQ+ Inclusion Business Resource Group/Employee Resource Group). Prior to this, I have experience as the "Problem Solver" for Physical Music Products and freelance Audio Engineer/Technician work. I'm open to any work in an inclusive environment, and I&...
