  trying to set up an irc client on linux. thought i had it set up right, joined a server, everything seemed fine, tried to talk, typed 'yo', got this: [13:37] [Raw] yo [13:37] [Error] YO: Unknown command. ('Raw' is NOT my nick lol) very confused rn.

  anyone have any writing irc chats they can recommend me? :D i am in a ton of writer discords but for some reason the asynchronousness isn't doing it for me and i miss the days of deviantart writer chats (which was technically irc) but fuck that place nowadays, everyone cool left anyway
