One more try at getting the packaging right for LunaKron 2: Nicer black cardboard insert. The unboxing experience still seems plain, like it’s missing something. Needs some sort of artistic fanfare. Opening this box should feel like a celebration!

I made a GPS-enabled automatic moon phase clock out of sustainably-sourced wood 🪵, a US-made circuit board, and an LED strip. It's perfect for any shelf or desktop. It does NOT use/need: 🚫 WiFi connection 🚫 End-User License Agreement 🚫 Any personal information 🚫 Plastic packaging Just give it power and a space not too far from a window so it can get signal from the GPS satellites. Ask me anything! :) https://DigitalHorology.com #moon #Astronomy #clocks

I figured out how to shrink the packaging by 2” and I’m SO freeking delighted with myself right now. Does that make me a weirdo?

I’m so pleased with how well the new box insert turned out! LunaKron 2 is looking classy and staying safe & tidy. USB power brick and cable are hiding neatly behind the moon cutouts.
