Bought a 4yo Lenovo Yoga7 to use as my first real linux box, installed mint and works fine but is certainly a bit fiddly compared to a mac. But what is this 6gb &quot;available RAM&quot; when I&#39;m supposed to have 8? ah, it is the bios, grasshoppah. And why is the trackpad cursor always jumping around? Questionable touchscreen implementation for the &quot;also a tablet&quot; functionality of the Yoga. Not sure if this is a good machine as yet. We&#39;ll see if Reaper a...

Went out the back door last night and smelled a skunk, obviously very nearby. This morning my entire healthy clump of chives had been eaten to the quick. Fragrant food for a fragrant critter, apparently.
