• Management has historically been interested in boiling down complex issues to so-called KPIs, so that employee performance can seemingly be presented in a simple dashboard. Are there such KPIs for AI?

• AI spells the downfall of human culture; yet it isn’t even a substitute, but merely an endless, lackluster remix.

  To be honest, this development is simply the logical consequence of applying the principle of profit maximization. Unfortunately, technology has now reached such a scale that the people behind the spreadsheets are willing to sacrifice humanity itself. That, too, is not surprising, because they will only realize their mistake when it is already too late. Another example of the same principle is climate change.

  Unfortunately, I don’t see it that way. I’ve found time and again that even US citizens in the Fediverse tend to display a massive amount of completely misplaced, naive national pride. It seems to me that even those here, due to the oligarchy in the US that controls the media, are massively misinformed or uninformed despite their flirtation with free media. Added to this is decades of propaganda that Americans apparently cannot overcome even here. The best example is this post: Instead of...

• Where should I post this?

  The citizens of the United States are responsible for their country’s actions - even if they themselves ignore the atrocities committed by their government. Everywhere, the post is being removed - with the same generic reason: “No politics.” Nevertheless, this obviously needs to be said, since it apparently still isn’t public knowledge in the U.S.

• Is there currently an influx of bots in the Fediverse, or is it just that patriotism is kicking in?
