<p>Lifelong lover of epic fantasy and cats, also crows and fantasy art and music. Trying to make a fantasy RPG in Unreal Engine; we&#39;ll see how that goes.     I like trees. They’re pretty wonderful, they give us oxygen and cool things down, and they come in a dizzying variety of shapes. Trees are awesome

    It&amp;#39;s raining a lot, which is needed. It is also literally 30F cooler than a few days ago, so I just ran some errands. I think the temperature is going back up tomorrow... a lot.

    We never age mentally at the same rate as physically. When my mom was declining, she still saw herself as that younger woman who loved riding horses and having a small farm. I&amp;#39;m feeling that now. I don&amp;#39;t know what my internal clock is saying, but it&amp;#39;s definitely not the same as my age.

    I was driving through a nearby town when I saw a flyer someone had posted. It wasn&amp;#39;t close, but I could make out &amp;quot;JAZZ CURRY&amp;quot;. Should I assume those are two separate things? I mean I know there are a lot of curries, but jazz...

    After weeks of nothing but house sparrows, this morning I heard a mourning dove again. It&amp;#39;s been several months since I heard one, even though they&amp;#39;re supposed to be a year-round bird in the area. It was nice.

    Knowing that there are many powerful people who hate and do terrible things to feel powerful. Knowing that there are millions of people who are just fine with that. Existing has been a bit harder lately.
