  I made some free Bracelets for #Resonite! https://jinxxy.com/Colin/Bracelets Yama made the original mesh and I spent the past days on retopology and 37 textures for them (+ a few extras in my public). It also includes an installer that works on any avatar with arms.

  I've been trying to build a dashboard for tracking 3D filament prices, but holy shit I don't like standards that are so lax that everyone implements them differently such that I need to add a bajillion special cases to my crawler. Specifically talking about schema(dot)org.

  I was helping my mom on her work PC running Windows 11 and she opened the file explorer. It took, I'm not kidding, 20 seconds until it was open and responsive. I don't even know how I would intentionally make a file manager this slow. HOW???

  Decided to rent a storage KVM from #PawHost. While I failed at setting up Nextcloud for now, I did manage to install #Immich and uploaded all of my 2500 photos and videos there. And now the server is chugging on them running a face recognition model. I paid for the CPU, so I might as well use it!

  I've now saved the pictures of my entire lifetime using #Immich. Good timing too because I found a NAS in my mom's basement where one of the two mirrored drives already broke down. What I like about Immich is the (local) face recognition model that lets me query images by person. Back up your data! You will regret not doing it.

  I didn't know that #Nextcloud supports #UnifiedPush distribution. I've set that up now and for the first time my #Fedilab notifications actually work! (the default Ntfy and Murena servers never worked for me)

  Printing in ASA is gonna make me an expert in bed adhesion haha So much time spent carefully watching a print layer by layer to see when it lifts to understand why

  You should start 3D printing early, tired filament has stronger bed adhesion!
