<p>New to Mastadon, never on twitter, abhor everything Meta. While the world falls apart, I am still passoinate about improving conditions in my watershed so all species thrive. Salmon rule! Work doing watershed restoration, specialize in bioengineering in the original sense of the word. Mitigating erosion with low cost, low tech, structures, using natural materials found on site. Collecting and spreading native plant seed where ever i go, hiking, backpacking and playing the fiddle keeps me sane.</p>

These fucking AI companies have got to be stopped, they are heavily lobbying to deregulate healthcare. Nurses are having to submit bids for jobs and the lowest bidder wins. Please sign this petition. Trump is about to dismantle the forest service and open our national forests to decimation by big timber and mining. It will undo the the &quot;roadless act&quot; which protects the few existing roadless areas we have left , and the all species that live there . He plans to close all regional forest service ranger stations. Which include employees who build trails, fight fires and keep campgrounds clean. No stopping in to ask where trails, or swimming holes...
