  I'm pissed. Some English professor came for the woodcarver tiktoker Eoin Reardon for doing something most rural people have done in their locality- exploring a local ring fort. Full on "pomp of classical education" about this pr*ck. Might as well be talking about taking the Parthanon carvings or the Egyptian Obelisk. Not a hint of self awareness that a lot of the papers this man would have been educated with were written while the sites studied were under English landlo...

  So between Renault’s Tubridy shenanigans & now Lottie Ryan getting in hot water for a Toyota ad on RTE grounds, I suspect the War On Cars in Ireland is about to open a new front.

  For the record, the War on Cars is part of the reason I’m emigrating. A War on Cars is a war on rural life. They fill the air with “just transition” and “more room for those who *need* a car” fluff, but the more off the road the better to them. If you fall between the cracks, sucks to be you. They’re just Tories with a different motive.
