  Seems to me that if gas hits $10 a gallon, every service station that has the electronic gas signs in the format #.## is screwed. Which is most of the ones in our area. Maybe buy stock in the company that makes those signs, as they will all need to be replaced. 😏

  Since most of the Douglas Firs burned in the 2017 fire, we don’t get the Olive Sided Flycatcher showing up. The forest edges have reverted to chaparral, so in its place we get the Ash Throated Flycatcher which reliably appears around the first of May. #birding

  Did I mention this is the “P” litter? All of their names will begin with the letter P. The letter is allocated based on the whelp date and time. The names will be chosen in a couple of weeks.   Epic whelp. Puppy #5 came at 3pm. Still no sign of puppy #6 at 7pm. We thought it was lost. At 11:30pm out it came alive and kicking! All puppies gained weight overnight. A good start. #dogsofmastodon #servicedogs
