  SOME CINEMAS HAD AKIRA AND IN 4K AND IT WAS ONLY ON APRIL 17TH AND I ONLY FIND OUT ABOUT IT ON MAY 2ND? Dammit. I've seen Akira like a hundred times since 1993 but I'd LOVE to see it on the big screen. Only anime I have seen at cinema was Ghost in the Shell in 1995 at the London Odeon. Was nice. :)

  This Norwegian newspaper tribute to Michael Jackson published in 1992 sure has an interesting choice of title for one of the articles... I scribbled a bit on the image because I don't really want that word on my page but you get what it is. I read a translation of the opening paragraph but nothing in that explains the title. Not sure there's any good reason that could.

  MotU Chronicles Man-At-Arms Another superb figure. The Idris Elba face sculpt is very well done too. My only 'complaint' is the figure doesn't hold the pistol properly like the Tri-Klops figure holds his rifle.   Transformers x Back to the Future Gigawatt This is the 40th Anniversary reissue of the figure that came out in 2020 (for BttF's then 30th Anniversary). Good figure I'd been wanting for a while but felt a bit expensive for it's size (deluxe scale and not very complex).   My friend has mix n matched parts from MotU x ThunderCats Wave 1 & 3 Lion-O's and ended up with one looking very much like the 80s cartoon colours and the other looking like the original 80s toy colours.   I still like this Masterverse New Eternia Webstor figure a lot. Made slight tweaks. White polyester thread instead of black string. Painted his 'nails' black. And using Mega Construx parts to add a rifle barrel to the gun when grapple isn't on it. 🙂 Putting two of the spider legs on the handle does kinda make it look like a bow.   My amateur repaint of the 5 inch tall Yolopark AMK Mini DotM Optimus Prime. Second image shows a stock photo for comparison.   My amateur repaint of the 5 inch tall Yolopark AMK Mini DotM Megatron. Second image is the stock photo for comparison. I slapped on some black wash, brown wash, a lil silver chrome in places and smeared some light reddish brown. Was fun to be so messy. 🙂 (Like Blokees, Yolopark did not include chains or cloak.   I've got all the Vintage Collection released so far and I generally am not a fan. I find them boring. This upcoming Beast Man though? Actually looks decent. Colours pop nicely too.
