I designed a PCB! I ordered some #RP2040 Zero (Waveshare clones) because I didn't feel like soldering a bunch of tiny SMD components when a tiny module with them already soldered could be had for under $3. Just needed to route everything out to connectors to make a functional ARGB hub, which could also act as an ARGB controller from the RP2040-Zero's USB port (though it is meant to be powered from the incoming ARGB connector).

I made a video discussing and demonstrating my RP2040 ARGB splitter and showing off some upcoming #OpenRGB features. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=esm0mUjiIu4

My #RP2040 #OpenRGB Smart ARGB Splitter PCBs came! #OSHPark did a great job on them and they work as expected. Splitting one ARGB/WS2812 signal into up to 8 output channels.

Got the start of an #ARGB #WS2812 signal parser working using #RaspberryPi #RP2040 PIO. Going to use this with my #OpenRGB RP2040 ARGB splitter project to send configuration data (LED channel counts) using a standard ARGB controller output. RP2040 PIO is awesome for dealing with high speed serial signals!

After like 40 minutes of mashing the checkout button it finally went through. This is not a fun game, Steam. Why say they are sold out when they're "restocked" 10 minutes later. You did not just go manufacture a new batch in 10 minutes. Just take preorders and ship them as they're available rather than this frustrating crap.

Upgraded all of my working arm64 #postmarketOS devices to the latest #phosh #systemd edge! Also wrote a small script to do all my preferred app installs and some configurations (my custom squeekboard layout, autostart TouchpadEmulator, set default scaling to 200%) to make reinstalling less painful.

    Love the new #postmarketOS wallpaper!

Wow! The QR code scanning verification feature of the Fractal Matrix client JUST WORKS on OnePlus 6T on #postmarketOS! It verified the OnePlus 6's login. Didn't even need to use focus control, just focused by moving the phone closer.

Success! I've installed a new battery in my #OnePlus 6 running #postmarketOS. Old battery capacity reported around 0.5Ah, new battery out of the box reports 2.96Ah and was around 50% charged, so letting it charge up now. Used a hair dryer to weaken the adhesive and @iFixit suction cup and picks to get the back off. After removing the back, swapping the battery is quite simple.

#KDE #Plasma on #postmarketOS turned my Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro tablet into a laptop replacement. I've been using this for #OpenRGB development when out and about due to its smaller size and way better battery life and I've been very happy with it. The only real downside is performance, but with #OpenVPN and a decent connection I can use #waypipe to remotely use one of my Arch desktops for the more demanding things like compiling.
