    For anyone who&amp;#39;s into #soulslike games (especially #DemonsSouls and the first #darksouls), go check out the free #Mouseward demo at https://store.steampowered.com/app/1188410/Mouseward. It streamlines some systems in neat and interesting ways while really nailing the feel of those earlier soulslikes. I&amp;#39;m particularly fond of the way they handle the stamina system. It&amp;#39;s only a couple of simple tweaks to the formula, but they add up to something really nice.

    So, I&amp;#39;ve been thinking of expanding my game dev vocabulary. I&amp;#39;m pretty good at Javascript and Lua and know a bit of C (but don&amp;#39;t like it much). But I&amp;#39;m looking for a language/system that will run on/compile to web, desktop, and preferably #Playdate as well. What do you recommend?     Had a rare movie night, and this one was a banger! &amp;quot;A Dark Song&amp;quot; is a low-budget Welsh/Irish horror mystery that&amp;#39;s basically an hour of slow, steady buildup of dread and weirdness leading into 20 minutes of bonkers ending. Highly recommended!

    Hey Fediverse! Do you have #recommendations for good, affordable #webhosting, preferably of the type that allows me to have fun with nodejs shenanigans? Preferably EU-based, privacy-friendly, etc. DEI, environmentalism and other woke stuff are plusses too. I&amp;#39;m pretty happy with my current webhosting at weboke.nl, but I sometimes run into #nodejs issues that would require me to upgrade to the most expensive tier.
