Sent the eldest round to take fresh photos given we’re at emergency stations, this has unfortunately meant they’ve got back with the photos but have had to try not to throw up in the taxi on the way home and are now occupying the bathroom. Got the photos though, the absolute stars.

Weird day where people are doing the fighting for me and I have genuinely no idea how anything is going nor if they’ll be able to catch us a break but they’re bloody determined to try regardless. On the one hand, I am very grateful for people taking up the fight at this last round but on the other, my brain hates the complete realm of not knowing as people go and do their things. I think I’ve been hauling this weight by myself a bit too long or something.

Still ploughing through Doomwatch again in my downtime. There’s a couple of clunkers in there but I’m always surprised at how well a lot of it still holds up. Find it’s at its best when it’s at its most boring - and again, I think in trying to spice up the drama somewhat, another reason why the film falls flat on its arse when it has to try and settle into having some actual Doomwatch in it somewhere. It just kind of needs to be boring and methodical to work at all.
