Sports commentators really do say stupid things… watching college softball &amp; the woman commentating the game just told us that the pitcher “has been in this situation before, with a runner on 1st” - a division 1 college pitcher would have to be pretty damn amazing to have never had a runner on 1st before in her career (or terrible, so she gives up doubles or better on every hit, but then she’d never make it to D1)

Spent the weekend at an ultimate frisbee tournament in Fresno, early starts and I never looked at my email. This morning is a nightmare!

He’s not building a ballroom. He’s building a fortified palace he can hide in when he starts a civil war. He clearly has no intention of leaving the White House before he dies. There is a bridge on the way into Walnut Creek here that during 2024 was all pro-convict slogans. For the last few months it has had strongly anti-convict messages. Why are car dealers so hard to deal with... Interested in a car, been listed on their web page for a little while, so I ask for info. We missed each other yesterday, but today he calls me and amazingly the car is going to be picked up to go to auction in an hour or so if I don&#39;t get them a deposit soon. Do they really think I&#39;m going to believe that?

I must be crazy, but I bought a new car... well, not really a car, but a new vehicle. Need to decide what to do with the Taycan (leaning towards keeping it for the moment).

Flight booked for Portland on Thursday to collect the car &amp; drive it back. Currently in Newberg, OR, just over 600 miles away. Then I’m going to have to work out how to deal with DMV.

Is the one power bank per person limit a Southwest thing, or is that now common to all airlines? Amusingly, while I can only carry one power bank, I am allowed up to 20 spare batteries for my camera.
