  I spotted a #tiktok video, speaking of #Carpenter flicks related to tomorrows #monsterdon. In The Thing, someone mentioned that if you pay attention to which side of the face is illuminated in The Thing, that the sides of the face are a hidden Easter egg for who is human and who is not. I don’t know this authoritatively but it does make me wonder.

  So #monsterdon has picked the third movie in John Carpenters Annihilation Trilogy. First, The Thing. The annihilation of the body. Then Prince of Darkness, the annihilation of the soul. Then In the Mouth of Madness, the annihilation of reality. We’ll be watching the third one. One of my favorite movies so lots of fanboy and Lovecraft nods and references. I’m so glad we all get to see it together!

  Every week on #Monsterdon I enjoy the #Owncast stream provided by the goodness of @miru@social.miyaku.media and they beat the drum of #MutualAid. Today I helped a friend who is in need, @LibertyForward1@beige.party. Sometimes the biggest hurdle is knowing who to help, and maybe it just takes someone to say something. Helping people makes this world better, giving can be like the light of a firefly, lighting up a little harbor in this dark world of ours. Just a thought…
