  Sometimes I wonder if computers will become something for the elite class. Locking out the average person from the ability to control their own hardware. Idk, i feel crazy but perhaps it's a common opinion. I see the way things are going. "Clouds" and subscriptions everywhere, almost impossible to avoid. Why own your own hardware when you can rent ours? why store your own data when we can store it for you? Truly dystopian in some respects

  I wish there were more tools for linux TTY. I have become obsessed with it. Although I've also begun a relatively new fascination with operating systems. I really want to try some form of BSD but I fear i'm too dumb. Linux has made using computers fun again and I am well aware that this joy will likely ware off.   There has been a lot of relatively good tech news lately for nerds like me, I hope this trajectory continues as it has. Waking up to $80 sticks of RAM and +20% Linux user market share would be great OH Kerbal Space Program exploded in player count for obvious reasons. For anyone curious, it runs great on linux. I can't remember if it's native, but I know that it's smooth as butter. Shockingly KSP even runs on MacOS. The joys of older games. Damn shame what they did to the...

  Learning how to edit my bashrc file so that I can watch twitch and youtube via the TTY has been a blast. I highly suggest linux users to try it themselves. Completely unecessary, yes. I love unecessary though. If I can, I will use everything via TTY/TUI Long Live the Terminal!

  Can someone please explain to me why someone would install blackarch over arch? I understand it comes with preinstalled stuff or whatever but idk. Maybe I should try it before knocking it. I have the same issue with kali. Why not just use debian? I get it, efficency, ease of use, all in one, etc. maybe i'm a dumbass though lol

  God it feels so good to upgrade computers. Went from a Ryzen 3 3200g and a gtx 1650 Super to a Ryzen 5 5600 and a RTX 2060. Still obviously not the best hardware. But, feeling responsible for making your computer run faster is so damn amazing. 10/10 suggest you do it some time
