As of today I have been at Bicycle Garage Indy for 19 years! I&#39;ve been a professional bicycle advocate for more than 27 years, something not many folks can say. In the early days of bicycle advocacy there were few organizations with paid staff and we all knew each other. Now there are hundreds of bicycle advocacy organizations throughout the US. No bicycle retailers had bicycle advocates on staff - that hasn&#39;t really changed. /n

Columbus Grand Touring ride 5/9/26 - Our first Grand Touring Ride of 2026! We had a wonderful day for a bike ride on Saturday! After eating some pre-ride bagels, the group of 18 riders headed out on quiet country (and hilly) roads from Columbus IN to Story Indiana where we had lunch. Then the riders climbed and descended hills on the return to Columbus, including riding around Grandview Lake. Thanks to everyone for coming! 49.7 miles, 2800&#39; climbing.
