• Takin an uber for the first time…

  I know some people get big feelings about being able to request women drivers, but I was really relieved to have that option especially since this is a novel experience.

  Yea, I know people have feelings about how others choose to protect themselves. Mine are “better my safety than your feelings.”

• I asked for a raise…

  Last week I asked for a raise. I have never done that before. I asked for way more than I thought I would get. Anyways, they gave me a little less than what I asked for, but they did give it to me! I was really surprised, and glad I didn’t have to job hop.

  I like talking to real people. To me that’s a benefit. Reddit also feels like it’s gotten less friendly to me as a woman. That’s just been my personal feeling.
