Oops big thunder in Blossom Park... But no more tornado red warning for now, I am not in the trajectory of the one we got a few minutes ago. But I will keep an eye on Environnement Canada app with the severe thunderstorm yellow watch. #Ottawa #OttCity

#Ottawa #OttCity Honest discussion: who is ready? I am not. If you don’t know what I am talking about check the link below. Or at least who has an emergency kit? I don’t. It is very hard for me being autistic and ADHD, especially because of my ADHD. I am not amashed of my neurodivergences, and talking about my unpreparedness maybe in the next days a motivation to finally begin to gather things for the emergency kit… https://ottawa.ca/en/health-and-public-safety/emergency-preparedness/emergen...

I'm mad, pissed off about the condo manager. Again, he wants to cut trees and replace them by grass "because it is going to easier to maintain". 😤 I am tired of having to fight with him on so many different subjects. He is so used to overstep his role! I am on the Board of Directors and I think that we need a new condo management company. Do you have any suggestion #Ottawa #OttCity ? I am going to look also on Reddit.

From the late diagnosed/realised autism blog. It is a long read with some suggestions for wording at the end. “Autism and Predictability: Why Routine Isn't Rigidity The message arrives at 4:12pm: slight change of plan. Nothing has gone wrong, and your whole evening has just been quietly cancelled. Why predictability is infrastructure, not rigidity, and what it actually costs you when it goes.“ —— “Rigidity is a word from the outside Notice who ever uses it. You have almost certainly nev...

I can’t give mine but if you are able to give yours, your donation is needed ASAP. ❤️ “Canadian Blood Services is appealing for people across the country to donate blood, saying its supply has dropped significantly in the last several weeks. The organization, which operates the blood supply system in all provinces except Quebec, is urging eligible Canadians this week to book blood donation appointments as soon as possible.“ #Canada #health https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/canadian-bloo...

From my favourite place by and for late diagnosed/realized autists. It’s a very long piece, and be aware that you are probably going to see yourself in some parts of it. If yes I feel you, and it is so weird to read a big part/component of my reality so well described! Some advice at the end of the text on how to try to learn to unlearn. I tried with a few health professionals in my life forced by the reality of my rare genetic mutation and thankfully it works. #ActuallyAutistic #autism Pl...
