  I've been having a day - you know that's true when the dentist was the least stressful thing. So I thought I'd share a bit of dorkiness. I've had my license plate since early 2007. Some times, while at a red light, I'll look at the plates around me to find people with older license plates in search of my license plate senpais. I don't find many!

  All of my gaming time in the past week has been split between Midnight and Pokopia. With Midnight, I am level 87 and just finished the Zul'Aman MSQ. It's the second zone I've done! I had mostly cleared out Eversong, save the dungeon quest in the south, and I still have some side stuff in Zul'Aman. Arator will be my next focus. Pokopia has 5 places I can go, so I cycle between focusing mostly on one for a couple hours, or madly cycling between them all. The P...

  I woke up this morning convinced it was Saturday. You can imagine my disappointment when my brain caught up and remembered that it was actually Friday.

  I had a fun weekend! Resubbed to Netflix for a couple of months, motivated by One Piece live action S2. But the first order of business was KPop Demon Hunters. Watched that on Saturday and 1st ep of OP on Sunday. No need to binge! Gives me time to absorb what I've watched. Pokopia is continuing. I think I'm at the last part of the story? It feels like it. Also! Found Arcanine! I'm so happy to have Woofles. That is what I always name them.

  So yesterday in Pokopia, Arcanine wanted his home warmer. I had just learned how to make fireplaces, so I made one for him and installed it. After he lit it, he stood there basking in the warmth, and then curled up on the floor to take a nap. I love how charming this game is. Also, finished Midnight MSQ this morning!

  Ooh, tax refund deposited. That means husband and I can go mattress shopping! We've had our current one for 9.5 years, and it's definitely showing its age. Replacing it with tax refund has been the plan for several months.

  I'm done with all the Pokopia quests now, and all the areas have max environmental level. But I'm far from done! I have so many habitats to build! Right now my focus shifts between fixing things in Bleak Beach, clearing out a wide path to the museum, and building houses in the player-named area.

  It's warming up! I mean, it's still winter and it's still cold. But I'm much happier at -5 C than at -20 C.

  It's a holiday here, so long weekend for me! Finished FFV yesterday - it was a fun experience. Started Tunic next! Played it for a couple of hours and have the sword and shield. I don't like the turrets! Today is anime catch up day!

  So right now Fanatical is basically doing a grab bag deal. $5 USD/$6.75 CAD and you get 3 random games. I figured why not. My three games: Bramble: The Mountain King - I had this wishlisted, so score! Jets'n'Guns 2 - Never heard of it, but shmups are good fun. Megaman 11 - in my husband's library so gonna find someone to give the key to. But all awesome for the price!

  While I'm looking forward to Midnight, I'm still plodding methodically through my pet/mount grinds. Mostly focused on Eastern Kingdoms, Kalimdor and Pandaria, with a little BFA, K'aaresh and Emerald Dream. Thought I'd write it all out! Main (paladin) - doing K'aaresh ecodome, pre-patch event weeklies, Mechagon, island expeditions and Strat pet dungeon, all mostly for pets. 80 mage - trying for a Legion pet xmute, and farming herbs to finish leveling Legi...

  In other gaming, I pulled out Echoes of Wisdom, as I was pretty deep into the game. Finished the Lanaryu dungeon, which means 2 more I think? But I haven't fully explored the map yet, so that's the next goal before I head to Faron.

  To all those waiting, have fun with Midnight early access! I only bothered with the standard expansion, and I don't mind waiting. I just finished my second book of the year (first being Percy Jackson book 4... something something labyrinth something). It was another random library pick up! The London Seance Society by Sarah Penner. I liked it, but I wanted to like it more than I actually did. But I'd pick up other books from the author if I see them! Next is Percy Jackson...

  I don't want to work, I want to play games! I think today is the last day I'll reliably need the heating on. Nights will still need it, but the days are getting better! I mean, I have my window open and it's 2C, so I am weird on that front.

  I knew I was going to love Pokopia ... But I love Pokopia. Even just watching the interactions between the Pokemon is delightful. Like Bellsprout asking Oddish about how he gets such lovely leaves. It's so charming, and the world itself seems pretty big. On the WoW side, my main is 83 and still not out of Eversong Woods. No play time before work tomorrow due to an appointment, but I'll pay as much as I can on the weekend, and delve into Pokopia when Lang plays PoE. Maybe fini...
