  Happy 100th birthday to David Attenborough. Thank you for being the voice that has guided my love of animals and this planet. Thank you for exploring the seas and for showing us things that aren’t just cute and cuddly. Thank you for changing your approach as it became clear that not showing the havoc we are wrecking in our environment in your shows was adding to the harm. Just, a massive thank you!

  Once upon a time I was the captain of Team Hellmouth, the BTVS team in a nerdy knitting competition group on Ravelry. Just seen that Nicholas Brendan died yesterday. Xander will always have a place in my heart and gets quoted often in this house. I’m so sad right now.

  I love this pinafore. Made it from old jeans. Didn’t want to take the zip out and reposition it so just laid it out like this.   Productive day is go. So far I have: 🌱Been out foraging for wild garlic and set the first load drying 🧺Done a load of laundry and hung it up 🥑Been to the greengrocers 🌼Failed in my mission to buy daffodils for my mum for tomorrow Time for more coffee and to write the actual to do list for the day. And yes, I will add all the above just so I can cross them off 😄

  The forage this morning was cold. But the rewards were good. Saw a fox on the way, big fluffy tail. The light was beautiful. It felt good to be alive! Time for the yearly PSA about foraging. Responsible foraging means not decimating an area. You are taking from an eco system. Be kind and considered. Ideally anyone coming behind you should not be able to tell where you have been. Wild garlic has a long season so you can take little and often, but this goes for any foraging! #pagan #foraging

  These past 2 days on the walk to work it has been clear enough of sky for me to see the glorious colours of Eos. And oh how wonderful it has felt to be connected to my goddess again. I might be exhausted but I feel blessed. All hail Eos. She who opens the gate and allows the light to spill forth and touch us all.
