The crypto industry has spent $189 million on the 2026 midterms, more than in all of 2024, much of it pushing the CLARITY Act. Indivisible says the bill strips out ethics rules that stop officials from profiting off the industry they regulate. Gallego voted to advance it out of committee. Kelly has not taken a position.
