  #3goodthings 1. The Frank Lloyd Wright book I bought Friday after out tour of a Wright-designed house is excellent. 2. No mowing today, but I will pay for it tomorrow. Two yards to cut, but I will start early and pace myself. 3. Burgers and hot dogs on the grill, with tomato and cucumber salad for supper. Delicious and helped keep the house cool.

  #3goodthings 1. #Missouri #primary #election results were better than I hoped. 2. My wife surprised me with a Butterfinger Blizzard from Dairy Queen. 3. Loaded baked potatoes for supper.

  #3goodthings 1. Had the day off today, the culmination of a 4-day weekend. 2. Only 4 workdays this week (I swear I don't hate my job, but everyone needs a little time off from time to time). 3. Took a great tour of the #StLouis Public Library's Beaux Arts Central Library. Thanks to Kurt, our guide, and Scott in Special Collections. Highly recommended if you live in #TheLou or visit.

  #3goodthings 1. Had the day off from work (and it's payday). 2. Spent most of it at the #StLouis Art Museum, for Free Friday. Saw the "Ancient Splendor: Roman Art in the Time of Trajan" exhibit. Really beautiful and interesting. 3. A late lunch/early dinner at our favorite neighborhood tavern. Great burgers and fries.

  #3goodthings 1. It's my Friday. I have tomorrow (actual Friday) and the following Monday off. Four-day weekend, whoo-hoo! 2. Starting a digital garden. Some technical details to iron out, but I think this may be a good solution for me. 3. Bourbon and Coke. Trying to limit my imbibing to the weekend, but see number 1 above.

  #3goodthings 1. Smooth transfer of my account to a new server (mstdn.party). I was happy on toot.community, but heard it was shutting down, so... 2. Cooler, less humid weather made for a more pleasant walk for both myself and my very hairy dog. 3. A relatively low-stress workday

  I'm new on mstdn.party, so an #introduction is in order. I am a husband and father, and a proud life-long Midwesterner. I am interested in pretty much everything, including, but not limited to #philosophy, #art, #design, #photography, #history, #science, and #psychology. I read voraciously about all of the above, as well as fiction (mostly of the science variety), biography and memoir. I'm a budding #Linux user (#Fedora KDE), trying to kick my Apple habit.
